1 oz. (3 cl) Creme de Menthe

Recipe: |

Two ounce shooter. Drink is to be layered.
Pour creme de menthe first. Tip glass, and slowly pour rum down side of glass so it slips under the creme de menthe.
Originally, and still is mainly, a regimental drink. Used when toasting friends and comrades who are not able, through a variety of reasons, to attend. Toasts are done by a group of four, preferably two couples. Arms holding glasses are intertwined when toasting and drinking.
